Fishing
On the Bernina Pass, in the mountain lakes of Lej Nair and Lej Pitschen teeming with trout, Pontresina's visitors can fish for free from mid-June to mid-September. Fishing permits are available at the Pontresina tourist information. Permits for other fishing areas can be purchased at the fish farm in St. Moritz. Inlineskating
The Engadine is an ideal region for inline skaters, with skating tracks on the Samedan airstrip (5.1km), between La Punt and S?chanf (8.6km) and between Punt Muragl and Samedan (2km).

The inline-skating season culminates in the annual Engadine marathon race, the largest and oldest event of its kind, that takes place on the main road from Maloja to S?chanf end of June. The road, that is closed for other users during the race, takes participants through charming Engadine landscape.
