A trip
in a horse-drawn carriage to the wild and romantic Roseg valley is one of
the highlights of any stay in Pontresina. Starting from the Pontresina station,
you will be taken through a nature reserve with Alpine flora and fauna.
The 7km carriage trip takes about one hour. You may then have a bite
at cosy Restaurant Roseggletscher, from where there is a pedestrian trail
leading on to the Roseg glacier.
There is a scheduled horse shuttle service to the Roseg valley from the
Pontresina railway station:
